Title “Human Security” Lecture Series 8
Descriptions In 2024, the Human Security Program marks its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this occasion, we will host a series of seminars featuring the authors of ‘Human Security Revisited: 15 Perspectives’ at the University of Tokyo Komaba (University of Tokyo Press), published in 2024.

Program for the 8th Lecture:

First half: Stories Without Narrators: ‘Ghostly Experiences’ During the Great East Japan Earthquake and What Brings About Human Solidarity (Hiroya Yoshikuni)
Second half: Memory, Record, and Literature: From “Paradise in the Sea of Sorrow—Our Minamata Disease” (Moriyuki Hoshino)
