Descriptions | United Nations Volunteer programmes (UNV) contributes to development and peacebuilding by dispatching UN Volunteers to UN organizations around the world. In 2022, more than 12,000 UN Volunteers have been dispatched worldwide. In order to encourage more people to become UN Volunteers, Tokyo Liaison Office expands various activities in cooperation with governments, universities, and other organizations. In this seminar, a wide range of information on UN Volunteers will be provided. This includes volunteer assignments, benefits, requirements, application processes and career development through UN Volunteer oppotunities. The seminar welcomes the participation of current students and alumni, who are interested in gaining field experience during/after their graduate studies, UN careers, or taking a new step forward in life. Faculty and staff members in charge of career support are also welcome. |
