HSP Seminar no.154 Fukushima and the Human Security

This seminar is among the Series of Seminars on the Aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Human Security. At this 2nd seminar on Fukushima, we will have a lecture from Mr Toru Shima, the president of the Gensosha Publishers. Working as the president of a publishing company, he was deeply concerned about what happened in Fukushima. Using his skills as a ex-journalist, he conducted his own research on Fukushima and published a book from his own company. In the lecture, he is planning to discuss about a sense of incongruence which he felt on the concept of Human Security when it is related to the disaster at Fukushima after the 3.11.
