Descriptions | International Humanitarian Law, which protects people in times of armed conflict, is becoming increasingly important as many armed conflicts around the world are becoming more complex and claim more civilian lives. This seminar series will discuss the basics of International Humanitarian Law. After the completion of this seminar series, there will be a selection of team members to represent the University of Tokyo at the International Humanitarian Law Moot Court and Role Play Competitions. Those who do not intend to participate in the competitions are also welcome to attend, and in that case, you can participate in any number of the three seminars. Those who wish to participate in the competitions are encouraged to attend all seminars. The maximum number of people will be 50, and the students from The University of Tokyo have priority to make the reservation for the seminars. |
